" A traveller sees what he sees, and a tourist sees what he has come to see " - Gilbert.

The statement is true to its core. I am a traveller not a tourist. I was on a journey, the journey beyond exploration, basically i started shooting from where a tourist stops going. The idea was to explore the geographical boundaries of Ladakh and i started with Turtuk. Drove off 200 kms from Leh via the highest motorable road in the world- khardungla , survived few dangerous landslides as well enroute, crossed Diskit, Hunder and finally reached the northern most village of India. Turtuk is literally the last village on Indian line of border control towards Pakistan.`Turtuk is a tight cluster of interconnected houses, houses of mud and interconnected willow.

Have a glance.
