Pandemic has change the way of travel in India and camping, road trips, overlanding is new way of travel. This will help you to travel on a low budget and simultaneously keep you in on a safe distance with others. Since we were locked in our homes for a long time, so we are looking for a getaway from cities into wilderness. Stay in nature is a different experience at all these days. Shimla was India's summer capital at one point of time and also nearest and beautiful place to visit. Reaching to Shimla is an easy task since it has road and rail connectivity. This is a perfect choice for budget travelers and you can witness a good snowfall in winters. A beautiful place in western Himalayan rang in Himachal.

Camp potter is a perfect place for nature lovers and there are few activities are also available. You can trekking trails, river crossing and some in house activities along with Camping. They have multiple types of cottages and tent stays here.

Just another place in Himachal, since it is one the most chosen state of India by mountain lovers. There is a off beat place in Himachal is Chail, which is located in between some beautiful mountains. Entire area is covered with thick forest and if you are going in winters camp site will be covered with thick snow which will be another out of the world experience.

Madhya Pradesh is underrated place for tourism and Kanha national park also offer a eco camp stay. This camp site is spread over approx eight acres of area. Kanha national park will give you an experience of lush green forest as well as desert at the same time.

Camp site offers multiple types of stays like, villa, luxury tents and hunting tents which will you a sense of staying in wilderness.

This camp is located in Nameri National park in Assam and now were are in land of elephants. Apart from camping there are lots of other activities to do water rafting, river crossing and few others. Nameri National park is home for more than 300 species of birds. Camp organizers also arranges camp fires and other activities while your stay.

Thekkady is one of the best and fascinating destinations among tourists. Few are the off beat places which are only visited by locals. Wild corridor is a jungle resort which offers many activities during your stay and now a days the started concept of camping which will allow you to camp in mild of forests. This place is located few kilometers from city center and easily accessible by road transport.

Pench tribal camp is a perfect place to sink in. You can enjoy sitting next to Pench river and watch some amazing sun rise and sun sets in in your wooden or mud cottages which will have attached washrooms for your convenience. Owner of this place will be your guide and will take some through the session to get to know tribal tribes there.

This place is heaven for elephant lovers and you can witness them in action. Splashing waters on visitors, you will get a chance to play with them. This place is located in Madikeri of Karnataka. This camps are located in forest and stay will help you to unwind some hectic schedule from city life. It is easy to commute from Bangalore to Madikeri.

Bheemeshwari nature camp is very near to Bangalore and can be an amazing weekend getaway from for Bangalorians. This beautiful place is accessible via road and camp is located on the bank of Cauvery river. Main sports you can do here is fishing and river rafting. Camp stay is comfortable enough. Don't forget to try Mahseer fish here. Since camp site is in middle of jungle you will be able to spot some wild animals like leopards, python, cobra, crocodile and some monkeys.
