Day 1

Gokarna   Beach.

This is a coastal town in the Southwestern state of Karnataka. Gokarna is a is known for its beaches and is a popular  pilgrimage destination for deity of Lord Shiva.
Some popular beaches are the palm lined Gokarna,  Om Beach, half-moon and paradise beach.
This place is accessible from Goa, Mumbai, Udupi, Shivamogga, Haveri, Dharwd district, Belgavi  etc.
From Mumbai if you can go by train and flight.  
Travelers who are coming to Gokarna will find the nearest airport in Dabolim in Goa. This airport is around 140 kilometers away from Gokarna and you can hire a taxi to reach the destination. This airport is well linked with both domestic as well as international cities.
From Mumbai you can catch the Matsyagandha Express. 12619. Train it will go from Thane, Panvel,   Kokan,
( Chiplun,  Ratnagiri, , kudul etc and  Goa. i.e Madgaon,  and last but not the least at Gokarna Road
station at Karnataka.
  
For me gokarna is a whole new destination to explore. All credit goes to my Best Friend Aishwarya Sonawane  who helped me develop an interest in visiting that place. I wish she was touring with me and the group as we missed her during our stay. The visit really made my birthday weekend memorable.
Once the journey began, the first major stop was at Madgaon, it’s a fun train station to hangout at 3 am. The tea over there was awesome and was a perfect accompaniment for a cold night 

We reached Gokarna Station at 4:30 am next day. I took a cab to travel to the beach, the fare is Rs 500 which is a bit expensive but the ride is worth it
I stayed in the shaiva tent café where you can stay either as a single, double, triple occupancy tent.

I woke up at 8am to an amazing view as shown in the pictures.
After breakfast, we proceed to Kudle beach by trek. Kudle beach connects to half moon beach, Om beach, and paradise beach.
1. Kudle beach.
Kudle beach view resort is located at Kudle beach 2 Kms from Gokarna temple, and 130 Kms from Panaji, Goa
 

At Kudle beach you can do banana boat ride, parasailing, for Rs 300 to 350/-  Spa Treatment is another speciality here and anyone who wants to get a tattoo can get it done ranging from 500 to 2000.

2. OM beach.
It took 30 minutes to reach Om beach from kudle beach via trek.

3. Half moon beach.

It’s a 15 minute walk towards Half moon beach via Om beach. The trek is through dense forest area which is an adventure in itself.
This beach is connected to paradise beach.

4. Paradise beach
.

There are a lot of coconut trees which provide a lot of shade and is a good place to rest and enjoy the waves and renting a tent would cost Rs 500.

At sunset we proceeded back to Kudle  beach via ferry and the cost is around Rs 150, if you go as a group then depending the size the total would be Rs 500 – 600.

As the day come to end at 9 pm, the dinner time started. Had non veg food  and starter ( chicken lollipop). This hotel is at kudle beach.
Where we had Indian dishes, Italin dishes, seafood lover and non veg dishes.

Day 2  :-

Good Morning to everyone Early morning I woke up at 8 am had breakfast and refreshment proceed to Yana caves and Vibhuti waterfall.
I rented a scooter on rent which is approx you will get  Rs 500 – 600/- for 24 hours from Gokarna Market ( Mahaganpati Temple). 
From Gokarna market to Yana Caves it takes 1 hour 20 minutes to get there .You’ll get  to see National Karnatka highway and the Ghats too. It’s a nice breezy drive which most people crave for.

a. Yana caves ( cleanest village of South India) :- Bhairaveshwara shikhara , Mohini Shikara, yana rock
is located in forest of the kumta, uttara kannada district of karntaka. Yava caves is made of rock formations. It is located in the shayadri mountains range on the western range of western Ghats.

Yana caves description

This yana caves is one of the wettest village in the world and cleanest village in Karnataka & second cleanest village in India. This Yana caves is full of lush green forest area where you can go small trek.
Yana is famous for these two massive rock outcrops known as the bhairreshwara shikara and the mohini shikara.
The Rock is composed of solid black, cryastline limsestone).
This yana caves is famous for Maha – shivratri festival. Even car festival also held here. Ie Rath yatra.
Yana rock is surrounded by hill rock also known for every green scientific forest.  
For reaching yana caves everyone have to go by trek which is for more than 15 minutes trek but its easy trek.

During Mahasivtratri  festival is held here for 10 Days. At this yana caves  devotees more than 5000 -10,000  come here called bhairava kshetra.

Nearest Railway is kumta, Nearest Airport is Hubli.

Vibhuthi  waterfall.

Vibhuti waterfall is located in Ankoala Taluka of uttarKanada district in Karnataka state. Vibhuthi means limestone. Water in this falls comes from past limestone rock near yana so the falls is called as vibhuthi waterfall.
Best time to visit this waterfall is September and February. 
Here you can relax at the waterfalls and its not that crowded. The waterfall entrance is free of cost.
Vibhuti waterfall is open till 6pm.
We went back to our tents at 7pm. Had some good moments with everyone enjoyed till midnight with bonfire, music and songs.

Day 4:-
Last but not the least the last day arrived .i.e  4th  Day arrived where the devotees pray to Mahaganpati temple and Shri Mahabaleshwara Swami temple.
Mahabeshwara swami temple is one of the Muktishetras ( place of salvation) in Karnataka.
Mahashivratri in the month of February or March, and Kartika Mahotsava in November are celebrated with great favour and the festivities are worth witnessing as a part of the list of some of the best things to do in Gokarna.

Mahaganpati Temple.
In legend, the Sri Maha Ganapathi temple was built in honour of lord Ganesha. Ganesha deceived the demon Ravana and saved the Atmalinga that is now installed in the Mahabaleshwar temple. Within the temple is a granite image of Ganesha. The image is 5 feet (1.5 m) tall and two-handed; at the top of its head there is hole that is said to be a mark of a violent blow inflicted by Ravana. The temple has its own identity and is also known as "Siddha Ganapati.
Here in Gokarna Market you can buy handicrafts items, one who like to smoke Hukka. Hukka Pot , saree materials, Flea market shopping, and you can buy memories of Gokarna as Magnetic pictures of Gokarna beaches of Half moon, Paradise beach, Kudle beach, Full moon beach. Gokarna beach.

So it’s a  2nd place like Goa but its good destination for new young generation and for honeymoon couple to explore and experience.

A Journey is best measured in friends Rather than miles.
Once in a year go someplace you’ve never been before : - Gokarna place.
There are friends, there is family then there are friends that become Family.
All Journey have secret destinations of which the traveler is unaware .
