Recently I visited one more offbeat destination that is gokarna, karnataka a place of pristine beaches, old temples and peace.

So here is a quick Guide:

How To Reach:

Nearest Major Station:

Bangalore, Pune, Hubli, Ankola, Madgaon

Where To Stay:

Lots of hotels, homestays, and hostels on every beach but I will recommend you stay at Gokarna Main Beach First...

Here is why:

It's the main beach and you will get parking easily

Market and all eateries nearby

Lots of stay options, I will recommend you go stay at Gokarna Stops, it's in the mid of the beach so you will find less crowd and more calmness..

It's a beachfront stay, with plenty of common space, hammock, and common washrooms too.

They have rooms, a family room, and tents too

You can choose as per your budget...

Apart from that, you can also check Surya Homestay, Hari, and Namaste Homestay all nearby

Things To Do:

1. Gokarna Main Beach

2. Kudle Beach

3. Om Beach

4. Paradise Beach

5. Half Moon Beach

Activities:

All water sports are available at Kudle Beach, Kayaking is also available at Paradise Beach, and one can also learn surfing from cocopille surfing school

One can explore all beaches by Trek starting from Gokarna Main Beach - Kudle Beach - Om Beach

Beleken Beach - Paradise Beach - Half Moon Beach

Paradise Beach Seems like a Private beach, with tents available for stay and only one shack for food

You can also Explore all beaches by ferry or reach by auto and trek a little.

Days: 2-3 days are good enough to explore all major attractions, to feel the calmness of the beach you can stay as many days as you want

Season: Winter Will Be Good (Oct-March)

Cost: 1500-2000 Per Person one can reduce it by staying at a hostel, or tents, eating at local eateries, cut off on booze.
