Thailand which offers rich culinary heritage, exotic culture,sun-kissed beaches and stunning landscapes. There’s a warm welcome wherever you go the only thing you need to do is decide what you’d like to see – whether it’s a glittering royal residence or a tranquil island with rich marine life just offshore. Thailand is one of the few places in the world where you can see a city, rain-forest and beach.

I travelled from Goa-Bangalore-Bangkok-Krabi-Bangkok-Banglore-Goa. In this blog i will Share my itinerary and experiences through my photos

Day 1

Arrive at Bangkok

The Excitement after reaching Thailand!!

Photo of Bangkok, Thailand by Sagar Gurav

After landing in Bangkok early morning, it took almost 2 hours to complete Visa process . Then we hired a taxi & went to our hotel to get fresh. We started our trip by visiting all the beautiful Temples in Bangkok.

The Entrance on the side of the river!

This beautifully decorated temple is totally overshadowed by it’s neighboring Wat Arun. Thus it retains it’s serenity as it is not flooded with tourists.

This temple is not that famous among Tourists and is next to the river. The main features of the Temple are large statues of Buddha along with images from the Ramakien.

Positioned within the Grand Palace and surrounded by several other temples, the reclining Buddha did not disappoint, in fact it was truly impressive. This place is surrounded by lot of tourists, so the earlier you go the better, we visited this Place in the afternoon which was already Crowded with tourists.

Fresh fruits & Vegetables

Photo of Khlong Lad Mayom Floating Market, Bang Ramat Road, Bang Ramat, Taling Chan, Bangkok, Thailand by Sagar Gurav

If you want to experience the best floating market in Thailand, this one is the first choice. It is near to Bangkok, just 30 mins by car. The market is large and surrounded with a variety of seafood & fruits. A lot of local people buy food items there as well. I will suggest to take a boat trip to explore. After the floating market we went back to hotel and took some power nap, At night we went to skybar to chill.

On top of the sky bar with one of the most expensive cocktail :)

one of the best Sky Bar in Bangkok & it got famous after the movie Hangover 2, The view is breathtaking and the drinks are very good but overpriced compared to the average prices in Bangkok. It is on 64th floor, So If you want a good panoramic view of Bangkok then this is a must visit.

Day 2
Photo of Chatuchak Weekend Market, Kamphaeng Phet 2 Road, Lat Yao, Chatuchak, Bangkok, Thailand by Sagar Gurav

One of the biggest weekend market in Bangkok, superb place for souvenirs, gifts and clothes. You can find anything and everything here. You have to bargain to get the real price. It's crazy loud and really hot but if you're in the bargaining mood, you will find lots of treasures. Have to be careful and watch out your personal belongings.

Photo of MBK Center, Phayathai Road, Wang Mai, Pathum Wan, Bangkok, Thailand by Sagar Gurav

MBK is one of the Asia's biggest Mall. Offers lot of varieties. No doubt it is not the cheapest one but still you find so many items under one roof as well entertainment with food too. It will depend upon your search ability to find replica of international fame products at just half of its original cost. It can be a better bargain if you try hard and strike right ball at right time.

I had the Traditional Thai massage 90 minutes for 1000 Baht. And the massage made me relaxed. The detail in the pressure was consistent and the stretches was so relaxing. . This is the best way to end your Day 2.

Day 3

The beach is clean and quiet even though it is in the middle of the commercial place. variety of food and massage options available next to the beach. Hawkers are there to offer beer & other snacks at reasonable price.

Came here based on a recommendation from a friend and I'm so glad that we went. The area where this bar is located is Ao Nang Party Central with several other bars nearby. Chang bar is definitely the best bar in this area. The music here is amazing.

If you are a beach lover you will absolutely love Bamboo Island. The water is spectacular. Crystal clear, clean and warm. I have been to many beaches but Bamboo Island has the best water I have ever seen!

Viking cave

It's a cave where you can't enter. It's a short stop on most tours of the islands.

It's a scenic place, but way too many people on this small beach. The scenery is amazing, breathtaking and gorgeous, it is wise to visit here during quiet season or very early before many tourists arrive. It is best to go as early in the morning as possible. This is where the movie "The Beach" with Leonardo DiCaprio was filmed.

Had an amazing trip to Phi Phi islands from Aonang Beach. The water was very clear and really amazing. Phi Phi ley is hands down the most striking islands i have ever seen. The sand is powdery soft and bright white in color the waters are turquoise and the cast scenery is Mind blowing. we booked a day tour with speed boat for 1500 baht , which included lunch, snacks & water. We had very great time at Phi Phi. It was great fun in crystal clear water. We loved the tour in different islands. I recommend to go here once in your lifetime. After finishing the Phi Phi island day tour we went back to our Hotel got fresh and went clubbing.

Relaxing in Hot Stream

Photo of Hot Stream Krabi, Khlong Thom Nuea, Khlong Thom District, Krabi, Thailand by Sagar Gurav

Amazing natural hot spring in the middle of Jungle. It is worth of every penny. We got there early, so faced a bit less crowd otherwise the place gets over crowded. It was a refreshing experience for first-timers like us as we had never been to a hot spring before.

A walk to Remember!!

Photo of Emerald Pool, Khlong Thom Nuea, Khlong Thom District, Krabi, Thailand by Sagar Gurav

The Emerald Pool is absolutely lovely. The water is very pure and clear, but it is not too hot and not too cold, so you can truly relax inside. The area around the pool is extremely slippery. So, seniors and kids need to be extra careful. I think the Emerald Pool is like a must see one time thing.

Natural Cave

Tiger Temple is probably the hardest thing I have ever done in my entire Thailand Tour. Climbing up the 1237 steps to get on top of the mountain is so incredibly hard. The view from the top & huge golden Buddha is absolutely amazing, it was one of the best experiences ever, and we were so proud of ourselves for doing it. Would recommend you to take the hike either very early in the morning or around sunset, wear decent shoes, a hat, take your time and water bottles.

Baby Elephant

This was the most incredible experience, Elephants at the entrance made us excited for the activities ahead of us, Went for 45 min elephant trekking into the forest. We had a good time feeding and riding the elephants. It was probably a one time activity, but I’m glad we did it.

Crunchy Breakfast!
