Trip to 5 Jyotirlingas @ Maharashtra

As we decided to visit all 5 jyotirlingas at Maharashtra, we had planned and executed in the same way.. Also we decided to go only by public transport except to and fro flights.

Reached Pune airport by flight from Chennai Early Morning (5 AM), then took a bus to Bhima Shankar Shiva temple (first) by bus. After darshan headed to Nashik and overnight stayed there as we had pre-booked the room

early morning reached to Tryambkaeswar temple (second) and had dharshan. Hired an auto to roam around Nashik (Godavari river, seetha cave, dhanda garanyam, kala ram temple and then headed to Shirdi by bus. Had darshan and headed to Aurngabad (roads are very bad). From Aurngabad travelled to Grishneshwar and stayed overnight

Morning after darshan @ grishneshwar temple (third), visited Ellora caves which is half a kilometer away from temple. Visited only the caves 10,12 & 16 as we had short of time. Then reached Aurangabad and took auto to visit Bibi-ka-maskara (mini tajmahal) and from there visited Aunda Nagnath temple (fourth). After darshan, stayed there overnight

Morning took a bus to Parli Vaijnath temple (fifth & final). We had dharshan over there and took bus to Nanded. As we had enough time, visited Gurudhwara. Then took 4.30 pm train to Secundrabad. Reached there and stayed overnight

From Secunderabad, took a bus to Shamsadpur and from there to Hyderabad airport. Took a flight at 11.30 and reached chennai by 12.30.
