Getting your heart broken is tough.
Actually it is the crappiest feeling one can have. Its like lump got stuck on your throat and its breathtakingly painful. The roller-coaster of emotions altering every second setting you in a whirlwind of thoughts. You read books, take suggestions from friends but finally its all meaningless cliches just there to fill awkward silences. To heal or mend is up to YOU. Though books and internet tells you hundred ways like finding a hobby, getting a fresh start with someone else. Loss of appetite and insomnia are actually symptoms of lost love if happens after a heartbreak. Some doctors calls it “Broken Heart Syndrome” where your normal heart functions gets disrupted. The main mantra is to get an opportunity for quiet environment where you can listen to your thoughts.
For me it was a short weekend trek to Parashar lake. Getting lost in the pine forests with rivulets gushing around boulders, I hope to find myself again. No, not the previous version of me, just a tougher version of myself.
The Trip commences with questions thronging my head
With a heavy heart, the trip started with a bus ride from Delhi to Mandi. I would ask you all to prefer a State Government bus as the private counterparts either starts late or stops too many times in the journey. It will take around 8 hours to reach Mandi. There you can get jeeps where you can hop on with 100-150 INR or can book a car which will be expensive. After a swirling and rocky journey of 1 hour I reached the starting point of the trek. Being so broken from inside feels like no sleep has done me no damage.
