The most special part about the trip was the fact that I had no idea such a beautiful cave existed at the heart of the city..I was fascinated with the whole Buddhist Caves and Sculpture.. A great picnic place..Jogging Place.. Exploring on foot kind of place..If you are lucky you can spot an occasional deer..I did ! And you cannot miss out Monkey Encounters..One tried to steal my Kacchi Kari ( Raw Mango Slices)..
For people intrigued by history and culture this is a must visit if you have a couple of hours to spare in Mumbai..Mind you its in Borivalli..so you should plan accordingly..You will wonder about the time gone by..
I missed out on the biking part..There are cycles for here there..if you are up to it..taking a bicycle and covering the 6-7 kms stretch will be fun..
