As we all are facing travel waves inside us during this Lockdown. Let's debate ourselves with this ages old question that how should we wander to our favorite destinations.

Should it be unplanned or planned?

I won't use the title as a click bait and won't lure you to read it till end to share my take on it. Instead i will share my thoughts in the very beginning itself.

So, in my view both methods depends on factors that how, with whom and why do you want to travel.

While looking at the pros first, we can sum up our Unplanned Trips as fun, thrilling, having interesting turns, never thought before venus to stay and on wider note its an experience disguised with strong hint of suspense.

While its no doubt that unplanned method triggers the adrenaline to its highest peak and gives you plethora of thoughts that whats going to happen next, it also have the most common tag and curse with it what we usually call 'mishaps'.

No one would want to ruin a trip due to ad-hoc incidents/factors, e.g., over budgeting, you might not get the tickets in the first place, all the good hotels will be booked in the area, you end up compromising your comforts, your travel buddies will start doubting that why they chose to travel with you and the most importantly is you won't get to see  "The view" for which you are traveling for.

So, if you are traveling solo, just for an escape or you and your friends/family open to worst case scenarios, then you are more than welcome to choose the not planned version for sure.

And on the other hand, Planned trips have the least possibilities to get ruined, because if you are a pro traveler, you must have had kept option B, C, D even an alpha, gamma, beta, as your fail safe.

Pros here covers : in budget travel, best reviewed property to stay, which will have " The View " as you have time to ensure so, best food, best clicks and multiple itineraries to explore with.

But i won't be a 100% supporter of this method, as even with all such pros, let's be honest that a bad luck and funny fate is just a step away while you are out there to get to your destination.

I have experienced both, and hopefully in these obvious regime of ever increasing Lockdown timelines, will get to write about those trips too.

However, one thing which is surely inevitable in both methods is, formed MEMORIES that lasts forever in your mind.

Now, its upto you that how you want to describe it to your circle; a ruined Trip or an awesome Tale.
