The city is known for its famous waterfalls names Kiliyur. A short trek to reach the waterfalls. Good time to spend time in the evenings with a calm atmosphere hearing to falls amidst the lush greenery.
Water be the most perfect traveler because when it travels it becomes the path itself!!!
Loop Road - A hidden way of 32 kms twists and turns dangerously to present stunning outdoors of Yercaud. Hairpin bends, barricades on either sides, and coffee plantation spread around the road and makes it perfect stretch ride. If you want to witness this stunning beauty of nature then hold your breath throughout out the 32 kms stretch and dangerous journey. It will definitely test your driving or riding skills lol. Pagoda View Point is a wonderful peak beneath the forest surroundings and a pleasant atmosphere.
Staying at this view point is definitely worth it as you get to witness whole city from the top of view point, chilling breeze and passing clouds will make oneself breathless in a magical nature. Accommodation's like guest house, Villa's, Oyo rooms and resorts are easily reachable, however suggested to book well in advance during peak season as the place is tourist spot and huge crowd is expected.
Yercaud Lake - It's located in the center of the city which is well know to chill and cherish with your friends and loved ones by adding some fun activities like boating and garam chai and chats.
Shevaroy temple and hill - The Shevaroy idol is placed underneath a huge hill, a dark glowing beauty of god with deepa lights are glorious spreading positive vibes.
Ladies , Gents and Children seat hills - These three hills are quite near to each other showcasing the beauty in it's unique way. A scenic hilltop view and a Rose garden. An entry fee of INR 50 is chargeable.
A short and sweet trip to a hill station made my 2019 birthday, a memorable one..!!
