Day 1

So my morning started with a quick trip to Qutub Minar,  worlds largest stone pillar built back in the mughal era.
The perfect time to go there is 9am to 12pm when sun is not at its peak , the entry feels for Indian citizen is 40 Rs  while for Foreign visitors is 600 Rs .  Qutub minar is one of Delhi's most photogenic place , the perfect shot can be captured when an airplane passes the Minar.
It has a beautiful complex with a very famous Iron pillar. The pillar has attracted the attention of archaeologists and materials scientists because of its high resistance to corrosion and has been called a "testimony to the high level of skill achieved by the ancient Indian iron smiths in the extraction and processing of iron ".

Day 2

Day 2 was more of local expedition,  Dilli haat which lies just in front on INA metro station (pink line) , the place represents different Indian states . The best thing about Dilli haat is junk jewellery and food , Junk jewellery are comparatively more expensive than sarojni and connaught palace but design is very rare. Momos from Nagaland stall is very famous. And litti chokha from bihar section is must have. Bargaining depends upon what you are buying.

Day 2

The most famous Sarojini Market is heaven for all the women. Starting from cheap clothes to junk jewellery and handbags, sarojini has it all covered.  I bought a dress for 150 rs , a kurti for 350 and many pair of earrings for 30 rs each. The market is just few steps away from Sarojini metro station (pink line). Bargaining is must!

Day 3

India's most famous lotus temple was my next stop. The place is very peaceful but not a good option on summer days .

A must visit for every Indian,  India gate is a crowded and lively place . In spite of the crowd the place had it's own vibes.  The newly made War Memorial is also a must visit if you are visiting India gate.
