What comes to your mind when you first think of a road trip? Car, roads, angelic landscape. Well, road trips should be kept as ordinary as possible for an inconceivable experience. Trust me, after around three backpacked road trips, I feel that’s the best way to explore the environs without missing out on anything. By missing out on anything, I mean, if you fly somewhere and look down from the window, when there are pretty less clouds of course, don’t you sometimes feel, how I wish I could go down and explore that beauty. If yes, road trips are the thing for you. You may not always have the time and money to do so. The time factor is significant, yes, but once in a while you can take out time for yourself and unbind from the worldly pleasures. About the money part, here are some solutions to let go off your uncertainty and not that amazing trip.
Rent a car(Approximately 300$ for a week with insurance, fuel and all the fancy stuff)
Rent a car if you don’t have one. You wouldn’t want to take your car if you are going on a very long trip which would involve off road terrain or bad weather. You can check hotwire or carrentals for cheap car rental deals.

Pack some yummy food (Approximately 100$ for a week for 2 people)
If you are on a budget, you might wanna pack some food and save those dollars. You can also pack knorr soups and ready to eat noodles and get free hot water from anywhere.

Pack your tent and sleeping bags / couchsurf (Approximately 200$, but hey this would be a one-time investment)
I usually prefer dozing off in the car itself. But there are many who wouldn’t prefer that. You can always find a free campground and have that perfect camp night while on the trip. You can also couchsurf.

Get hold of your camera and you are all set to roll
