We have planned this trip in just 2 hours before we left our houses, so we were on a budget trip to jog falls which is near shivamogga, talaguppa so we decided to board the train because it is the only cheaper way to get there, the train price from Bengaluru to Talaguppa in talaguppa express was around 150rs for a person, the train left bengaluru around 10.30 pm.
We reached talaguppa around 7.30 am and from there we wanted to take public transport ( bus ) to jog falls so we came out of station and there was a small highway so we got the bus there and the bus fare from talaguppa to jogfalls was 20rs per person it took us around 30 mins to reach 20kms distance in bus and the bus stopped right in front of the entrance gate so we entered there and the entrance fees was just 10rs per person after that we ate some food inside itself there are plenty of canteens inside but don't get into scams there because they sell things in a higher price so i recommend not to buy some unwanted things other than food so we got some dosa and we gone looking for the best of the best view to get some pictures for my photography page and got it too so after the main view point we headed to chaina gate or whatever they call and from there we got the real view of the jog falls so after that some of our biker buddies so we joined them to Bheemeshwara falls which was around 40kms from jog falls but go here if you have bike or cars or else don't ever go there because there is no proper public transport to there and if you are a true biker you can enjoy the 3 kms of extreme offroad to get here but trust me you'll love the place and there is a priest over there he serves food for the visitors by charging them 80 rs per meal and really that meal was very tasty i loved it so after enjoying the nature for some time we retured to talaguppa railway station to board our train which was leaving the station around evening 8 pm and don't worry about the seats you can get seats in general compartment itself because it is the starting point of that train so it'll be empty,most of the people borad the train in shivamogga so get a seat before that and we got some lunch in shivamogga after that we slept where we were seated.
We reached Bengaluru around 4.15 am .
As we planned the budget trip was successful and we spent around 600rs for everything including transportation, food, extra expenses etc...
