Day 1

Interlarken is a place where adventure meets natural beauty. There is a wide array of activities you can do there. Since we had only about 3 hrs here before our flight,we decided to prioritize and chose to do paragliding. It's pretty expensive as compared to such experiences in India. It costs EUR 160 Per person. So be mentally prepared. Don't spend all your EUROS on shopping 🤑. Many people on our tour didn't opt for it since it was very expensive. But we had not spent money buying watches and cuckoo clocks. Buying experiences seemed much for eternal. Also if you book it online you may also get a discount. The slot we got was for 10:30 am . Till then we had a walk around the beautiful lake watching people cycling. Also had some ice cream. The bus ride to the top took around 20 mins. There were 7 instructors and 7 of us. We chose our instructors and they talked us through the activity.

Since I am scared of heights,I was a bit apprehensive. But they assured us that their casualty rate was ' zero' . Also the youngest paraglider was 3 and eldest was 99.

If you want to take photos or videos ,it's additional EUR 40 .
Once you're in the air, you get a view that an eagle has. It's just beautiful and overwhelming.

If you want they also make you do flips, almost touch building rooftops, and just some plain old going left and right.

The 15 mins in the air went away very quickly but the experience stayed on for life!
