Long bike rides with friends , breath taking views of mountains, off road biking. Anyone would be fascinated by these things, and for most of us the place which comes in mind for these activities would be LEH -LADAKH.
But trust me, SIKKIM offers plenty more than this.For the bike lovers who love to ride long and want offroad adventure, sikkim is just for you.
Starting of with the capital of sikkim which is GANGTOK, personally i haven't seen such clean and quiet city ever in my life. The whole city is situated in valleys.
Gangtok is the main centre point from where you will be proceeding for your further exploration.
From gangtok you can go to north, east ,west and south sikkim depending on what type of adventure you wanna explore.
We went to north and east sikkim.
In north sikkim the must visit place is off course GURUDONGMAR LAKE.
I don't have words to describe this place. Every step u take is just awestruck view.Even the pictures i posted can't justify the beauty of this lake. It's a complete off road way from LACHEN ( small village in north sikkim)
of around 50km. You might face altitude sickness because the lake is at almost 18000ft from sea level, so be prepared for that.
In north sikkim you can also go to ZERO POINT.
As far as east sikkim is concerned, the must visit places are TSOMGO LAKE, BABA MANDIR and NATHULA PASS.
And don't think too much about destination, because the roads and beautiful natural beauty itself is the main attraction.
In tsomgo lake u must try Cable car because the view from cable car is majestic.
You will get snow throughout the year so you can enjoy snow at multiple places.
So if you are planning a tour with your family or friends,then i must suggest you to once visit sikkim.
