We started from Mumbai airport 6:00am flight to Istanbul, it was 7hrs flight.
Istanbul airport is a big airport and we almost missed our flight as there is priority queue for those who are having immediate connecting flights.
From security gate to the boarding gate it was 20mins walk! Finally we boarded our next flight to Athens which took 1hr.
The view from the flight is mesmerising. You can actually see the small small islands and beutiful landscapes.
From Athens airport we decide to travel by local transportation so took metro till Sigatma station which is central station of Athens city form where you can switch to other metro lines or Local buses or tram.Then we changed the metro lines from red to blue and tool metro till Syngru. From Syngru we took tram till our hotel stay.
You can see street art and wall painting all over in the city. After checkout we started exploring the most happening area of the city "Plaka". It was actually full of liveliness, music, food etc. We had our dinner there. And came back to the hotel.
Highlights of the day : Plaka street, food joints, Street Music and first sight of the city :).
