'LEGENDARY' is the only word come to my mind when I looked back to this trek. It was the most adventurous trek ever done by me. The trek was in my wish list but I finally get chance to experience it on 10th October.
We leave Pune at 6am at morning. After picking up unknown trekkers from different spots. We finally started our journey to the base village walhivale. The view of Malshej ghat was awesome. We packed our backpacks and started our journey towards Harishchandra gad at 1pm.
We started walking through rocky Patch which is full of waters in rainy season. This rocky Patch was taking test of our mental and physical abilities. We all were sweaty after only half an hour of climbing. But we haven't completed 1/3rd of the trek. Some beginners were struggling to Climb the mountain and it took more time than expected. Continuous climbing of nearly 5 hours took us to the rock Patch where technical climbing was required. I was coordinating the group so I have to check safety of people.
The time was moving so fast and it was dark in some time. The torches were moving all around the valley, some were trying to help to find a way who left behind. The transverse took us to end of the valley. We wait for others then started climbing the remaining part of our trek. But suddenly rain started. Everybody was so exhausted by full day climbing and this rain gives us a relief. We were in the last batch. So 20 people were going on the dark route in heavy rains. It was a lifetime experience. The force of rain was so high. But trekkers were helping each other.
Suddenly we experienced flash flood condition first time in our life. Water level suddey raises 3 feet and our struggle doubled. We were climbing through live waterfall. But our experience helped us. And we reached our destination after 10 hours of long trek.
