Narkanda: In search of snow

Chandigarh to Narkanda direct via HRTC bus on night. whole night buses are available, reached at Narkanda at early morning (5 am). Sun rises on 7.30. After taking chai and breakfast from the local sweet shop we started our hiking towards Hatu peak (3500m). Path was totally covered with snow, and on that day we are the first team going towards the peak. We are making our foot prints upon the fresh snow, some times snow was 3-4 feet deep, that time it was so tiring. Clouds sun and snow continuously playing with us through the whole trail. It was a fresh and underrated one day trail. Best for enthusiastic nature lover.
