Sentosa island is one of the best place to hang out in Singapore. It is connected by a cable car, boardwalks, a train and a bridge. It has everything from sandy beaches like Siloso Beach, Palwan Beach and Tanjog Beach, spa's, rainforest, casinos, shopping malls and hotels. Buses and trains can be used to hang around in the island. It even has a night show, water fun park which is very enjoyable, an aquarium with dynamic fishes. The island is always bustling with fun and one can spend more than a day to enjoy to the maximum.

Singapore Zoo is a must visit place for all the animal lovers. Being an animal lover, this place was cherished by me. One gets an opportunity to communicate with animals and birds who wander freely in their surrounding. There are over 300 species and 2800 animals found in the zoo. The zoo has a open concept approach which allows tourists to interact with animals like giraffe, zebras and kangaroos but with utmost safety and protection.

It is a nocturnal zoo which is located next to the Singapore Zoo. I had spent my entire day at the zoo and then around 7 visited the Night Safari with an overnight stay. The zoo has almost 2500 animals and has various cultural performances and tribal dance shows. You can either choose to walk or use a tram in the forest. It's scary as you encounter lions, tigers, leopards passing by your side.

The most cherished mascot of Singapore is the Merlion. The iconic structure with the head of a lion and body of a mermaid, this piece of architecture is splendid. You get to know the history behind the Merlion through a small documentary shown there. It is one of the best place to spend late aftrnoon and evening time.Photograph lovers will love this place. A laser show called 'The song of the Sea" was shown to me. It was done in the middle of the sea.

It is world's second largest giant observation wheel offering a paranomic view of Marina Bay Skyline. Lunch, dinner, cocktail are also provided on the flight. It is indeed a romantic place to hang out if accompanied by a partner.

The Underwater world singapore and the Dolphin Lagoon provides a chance to dive with the sharks, swim with the dolphins and discover the marine life. You also get a chance to kiss the cute pink dolphins. It's really fascinating to be surrounded by water glass at your left, right and top and enjoy the sight of the small multicolored fishes.

Singapore, the lion city....It wouldn't be wrong to call this little island as 'Little India" due to it's familiarity with India's culture, lifestyle and food. Almost in every street or lane, you will encounter an Indian. I was shocked to see the neatness in and around the city as in India that's the least you can expect. Cleanliness and strict laws describe Singapore tourism the best. It was my first foreign visit and of course I was on cloud nine. I had read it somewhere that "Singaporeans moan about the fact that besides shopping, dining and movies, there's not a lot one can do here". But in my opinion ignore them. There is very little probability that one will get bored in their visit to the Lion city and the only place to have hosted the first night race in the world. Explore the food here. In short SINGAPORE=FOOD.
