We started the day 1 by boarding flight from bhubaneswar airport. Our flight was from bhubaneswar to Kuala Lumpur and from there to bangkok. From bangkok we had another flight to phuket. In bangkok airport different travel agents offer you different trips in a good price like trips to islands and city tour combined along with airport drop and pickups.
We reached phuket on day 2 evening and the tour operator picked us up from airport and dropped us in hotel and checked into Wyndham sea pearl resort.
We had booked a family suite with 2 private jacuzzi. Me with husband and my daughter and my mom went on the trip. The resort was one of the best resort and was having very beautiful landscape and rooms.
Our resort was very close to patong beach.
Day 2 started with a city tour.
We went to chalong temple and big buddha which was breathtaking.
You can see the view of both ocean and city from the top of the hill at big buddha which is situated at a higher altitude. It's a very scenic place and very nice place to spend time and explore the beautiful location.
Chalong temple is a must see with magnificent architecture of buddha and typical Buddhist architecture.
As usual in all these places you can find nice coconut water and lots of varieties of ice cream etc.
People are very polite and nice mannered .
We went on island hopping and our 1st island trip was to James bond island. On the way to james bond island we covered talu caves . There were beautiful and huge buddha statues inside the cave and then we went to kayaking before our final destination james bond island .
Also we went to pearl and gems jewellery store and saw an exclusive collection of various stones like green emerald blue topaz and ruby and many more precious stones jewelry.
Then we had lunch in an Indian restaurant. We came back and went to patong beach in the evening. We roamed around and ate Sawarama and coconut water and mangoes which was delicious.
We had been served delicious lunch before the kayaking on the small boats in shallow waters and the view was amazing.
The local boatmen took us for kayaking and we enjoyed the cool breeze and took lots of photos. The boatmen were very nice and jovial people who made good friends with us.
Patong beach and jungceylon shopping center. This was a day when we decided to spend on beach enjoying shopping and massage and eating street food and as much fruits as possible.
The beach was crowded with tourists who were enjoying the sun and taking massage. There were many tender coconut stalls and sweet mango stalls to enjoy both exotic fruits of Thailand.
Thailand is famous for its lovely exotic fruits and we ate as much we could.
We shopped for many summer dresses and took thai massage and ate at madras cafe.
Madras cafe is a very nice Indian eatery and lots of Indian food and people are there.
In the evening we went to jungceylon shopping center and it is also a very nice place you can find lots of tshirts and garments in a discounted price.
This day was planned for phi phi island tour on a big boat. The bus picked us up from hotel and dropped at the pier and it was a very long drive as it passed via patong kamala and kata beach to finally reach at the pier from where we were transported to phi phi island.
Phi phi island is a must see and it has white sand and crystal clear water and one night stay at phi phi island is also very nice to have . Though we couldn't stay there and came back to our hotel after staying around 2 hours at phi phi island.
Krabi and phi phi island are must see attractions of Phuket .
This is the day when we flew from phuket to bangkok and stayed one night at narathiwas hotel.
It was a pleasant stay with very nice food and little time we spent walking on the streets of bangkok before we boarded our return flight from Bangkok to bhubaneswar via Kuala Lumpur.
It was extremely well spent time in this trip.
