Let’s face the facts up straight—camping is just not meant for everyone! While the idea of pitching a tent in the middle of nowhere is damn exciting, the truth remains that it does come with its own set of challenges. For someone like me who’s a sucker for luxury, vacations are all about indulgence. Thus, the idea of staying in a tent automatically goes for a toss. Unless, there is some sort of a middle ground!

Located at a distance of 20 km from Ajmer, The Green House Resort in Pushkar is a luxury tent resort that is just the middle ground, people like me yearn for! The boutique property offers its guests the best of both worlds, owing to their 20 air-conditioned luxury tents that come loaded with amenities while the ten acres of lush gardens and the picturesque landscapes keep you connected with nature.

Cost

The resort offers its guests the option of choosing from three different types of accommodation options, namely superior tents, premiere tents and suites. A stay for two starts at ₹5,000 for the superior tents and can go up to ₹7,500 for the suite in the off-season (April-September). On the other hand, the season (October-May) rates range between ₹6,500 and ₹8,500 for the superior tents and suites respectively. These prices include the fare for the tent as well as a hearty breakfast for the guests.

Food

Quality is the key when it comes to dining at the Green House Resort and the in-house restaurant serves delectable Indian and continental cuisine. The team of skilled chefs sources most of their vegetables from the property’s vegetable garden, thus, ensuring supreme taste and freshness of the ingredients. The intricately done up restaurant is as much a visual treat as it is a memorable gastronomical experience.

However, the weather conditions remain extremely pleasant between October to March with temperatures hovering between 8 °C to 22 °C, which makes it the best time to visit Pushkar.
