The Magical Caves of India
I can write thousand words about Ajanta and Ellora Caves describing their beauty, magic and positive aura. That how they still fascinate mankind and attract millions from around the globe. That why, they are one of the best creations of mankind ever; but all of these words are soul less and dead and can’t describe you, what you can experience.
So let me answer, why you must visit Ajanta and Ellora Caves based upon my experience.
1. They are the real love at first site experience.
If you love heritage and history get ready to experience love at first site. I first visited “Kailasha Temple” of Ellora Caves and they did this to me. Only thing what I wanted over there was to stay there as long as possible. Feel the stones, their touch and you will realize that are they speaking to me?
2. They are living example of Human Dedication
Lord Krishna said in Geeta, “What you mind can think is possible and can be done by Human”. These caves are living example of these words. Even in today’s world of technology we can’t think of creating such a marvel and our ancestors did it back then dating 2nd century before Christ. Just imagine the amount of dedication they gave to build these caves. You can’t imagine you have to experience.
3. Confluence of Religion and Faith
Just imagine how peacefully those people used religion to upgrade themselves and help others. Ellora caves are series of Caves and Temples of Buddha, Hinduism and Jain faith and it is really fascinating to imagine how peacefully they build their temples and caves nearby and co-existed. Why it is not possible in today’s world, why we are using religion to harm others and not help ourselves.
4. You can still feel the Positive Aura
They chanted there thousands of years back, even Ajanta caves were hidden in deep jungle and Ellora were intentionally destroyed by invaders. They face all the problems which were possible but if you visit these caves with peaceful mind and not just as a tourist, you can feel the positive aura. In Ajanta caves and Ellora caves I felt the same, and that feeling was awesome.
5. Painting created back then are still Glowing
Yes, painting of Ajanta caves are still ready to speak if you want to listen to them. There colors, blend and fine lines are example of fine Indian history of arts and culture. They way story is painted of walls of caves are magnificent example of imaginations and art. Just try to feel them and you will surely fall in love with them.
When I visited Ajanta caves, I imagined only one thing; how this whole place must be when only Buddhist monks were walking in this beautiful landscape, chanting and meditating over there. Few minutes later I clicked what I imagined.
One more reason to visit these caves is that they are more beautiful than caves of Maurya of Lords of The Ring. I can give hundred more reasons that why one should must visit these magical caves of India. You must experience yourself.
