Story Behind The Trip

Aurangabad tour always in my mind to explore the historical place since so many years but couldn't go there. Then luckily one relatives marriage happens so then decided to go for 3 days.

Aurangabad having the great historical places Ajanta Caves & Ellora Cave since 2nd century BCE, all both include UNESCO World Heritage Places in India. This is very famous places all traveller visit around the world to see beauty of the caves. Along with this have Biwi ka Maqbara, Daulatabad Fort, Aurangabad zoo garden and very famous Paithani.

Day 2

Bibi Ka Maqbara ("Tomb of the Lady")

The historical triangular fortress in the city was initially built around 1187 by the first Yadava king, Bhillama V. In 1308, the city was annexed by Sultan Alauddin Khalji of the Delhi Sultanate, which ruled over most of the Indian subcontinent.

Day 1

We took swift desire for 2 days for sightseeing, first day visit only ajanta caves because it is long journey and it is so big almost took one day completely and second day will be Ellora caves and other famous places.

Ajanta Caves is almost 110 km and it took approx 3-4 hours for one side. Whenever you plan visit this place you have to take 1 whole day because it is huge caves and your mind goes to that century, seriously. First check point is parking where you park our vehicles and bus service reach you at entry point of Ajanta Caves.

Now we are so hungry then have lunch with Hotel Annapurna(Pure Veg) very nice and tasty food within a budget.

Entry Ticket Point

Ajanta cave one of the largest rock-cut monastery temple cave complexes in the world, includes Hindu, Buddhist and Jain monuments, and artwork, dating from the 600–1000 CE period.

Ajanta caves have total 30 caves in one large rock, but few caves are closed due to some maintenance. But when you saw this caves beauty, history, stories, language, 3D paintings, art completely mind blowing.

The caves also present paintings depicting the past lives and rebirths of the Buddha, pictorial tales from Aryasura's Jatakamala, and rock-cut sculptures of Buddhist deities.

Above photos described Lord buddha death below side people's are sad because he is leaving from us completely another side above people which swarg(Goddess) are happy and celebrating becuase he is come to them.

Ajanta caves is completely great not only the architect but also all the remaining factors like Wall-painting and their stories, designing, fashion and made with natural colors. I must suggest you take a guide for exploring caves because he told you story, history and many others things which we don't know even prepared before visiting this place. King Harisena, Queen Victoria neckless, 3D paintings, stupa, vihar and Mahaparinirvana all this stories your mind goes to that history, and one "Wow feelings" definitely comes.

This is very beutiful manual way(Old Style) for making paithani, himroo.

Ellora caves is divided into 3 part Kailash, Buddhist and Jain Caves.

Kailash temple is mind blowing architecture very smallest to largest statues, most creatives, unique and many others things are attract us.

Buddhist Caves

The Buddhist cave start from 1 to 12 ends, Eleven out of the twelve Buddhist caves consist of viharas which means monasteries with prayer halls: large, multi-storeyed buildings carved into the mountain face, including living quarters, sleeping quarters, kitchens, and other rooms. The monastery caves have shrines including carvings of Gautama Buddha, bodhisattvas and saints. In some of these caves, sculptors have endeavoured to give the stone the look of wood.
