My first trip to Greece and meeting monks

Tripoto

I love Linkin Park, and I heard that they named their album in honor of the monastery, which is located in Greece. My good friend invited me on a trip and the desire to visit this monastery was one of the reasons why I refused. Time passed very quickly and here we are in Greece.

The first thing that catches your eye is the people, due to the fact that the situation with the economy in this country is not stable, people have to be on the move all the time, in the morning a lot of people open their shops, go to work, in general, it can be seen that life is in full swing.

What a beautiful sea there was, we swam many times and every time did not want to leave these beautiful places.

And after the debt of traveling through nature and different cities, we got to the place that I had wanted to visit for so long. Meteora.

A very unusual and magical place, it is unimaginable how people were able to build it many years ago, if you are interested in more specific data - here is the link, and here is the second link. You can look at this building forever, this panorama fascinated me, we spent more than 3 hours there, circling on foot around these places.

My friend made an impressive shot, I want to share it with you.

In the walk, we decided to go straight there, we realized that no one would let us in, but we wanted to get to know this place as close as possible, but halfway when we changed our minds, it was VERY tiresome, we met a monk! This was a small man, we wanted to take a picture with him, but he immediately started to run away from us, because we decided that it was more expensive for us to try to communicate with him than to take a picture. However, the conversation was still short, he said that you need to go through many life tests and one of them is to live in a monasterytold us how to get to the nearest transport faster and left.

To summarize. It was an unforgettable trip with tremendous impressions, I will never forget it. If you are considering whether to go to Greece - definitely go, and I advise you to visit a meteor, the photo conveys 5% of the emotions that you can feel being there.
