That was a weekend and the never ending craving to hit roads make a way for another amazing journey to Siddhpur, Gujarat
Started at 13:00 from Navi Mumbai, the first destination was Ahmedabad and it's almost 9 hours drive. The difficult task is to cross all Mumbai city traffic and getting into Mumbai- Ahmedabad highway.
After 10 hours of drive and 2 food stops reached Ahmedabad by 23:00, went directly to Hotel Tribecca Select.
Date : 2nd April, 2023
Next day we started from Ahmedabad at 10am, it's 2 hours more to Siddhpur, roads were empty and had a smooth drive till Siddhpur. Reached Siddhpur around 12 :30.
Siddhpur is a small town famous for the trading community-The Dawoodi Bohras and the architecture style they created for the city. The place looks like a European town with Victorian-style architecture that somehow was transported to an Indian village.
after spending almost 2 hours exploring the place, trying local food and clicking few photos started heading back to Mumbai.
Reached back Mumbai by midnight.
Road Conditions:
Few diversions at Vapi and road construction between Kadodara and Kamrej. Rest all excellent roads.
