2 Days Of Jaipur #Lockdown

Tripoto
Day 1

This was my first visit to Rajasthan.
I had been to Alwar on work.
I took a bus from Alwar to Jaipur. Which was a public transport, and costed me around 130-150 rupees and 4hours of travel. Now there was this lady conductor, she helped me out when i asked her to stop the bus in the middle of the city. From where i can move easily around the city in whichever direction i could. She stopped the bus near Malviya nagar or somewhere near to that. It was around 4 in the evening when i reached the beautiful city Jaipur. I walked for a kilometer then booked a bike ride to Jal mahal, which was the first place i thought i should go to. Jaipur is such a big and beautiful city. Anything less than a week is very less. And as of i had 2 days of time, i didnt want to miss any second of the time i had. I reached Jal Mahal. Booked myself a stay near by, which was around 200mtrs from Jal Mahal when you enter the city and costed me 450 rupees for that night. I ate some pani puri there by the road side. I'm mot a big fan of pani puri. But why not when you're in Rajasthan?
Please visit Jal Mahal with a zoom lens and a tripod for sure. And visit it around 6:30 to anywhere around 10:00pm so you feel less crowd and the feel best lights of Jal Mahal. But if you're a bird enthusiast, please be there around the Golden hours. I came to my stay around 10pm. On the way i carried myself some food from the local restaurants. Which is pretty good in taste, authentic and budget friendly. But if you're a meat fan, please visit the MM Khan hotel. Which is very near to Jal Mahal, for the very best Lal-mans in Jaipur city.
It was a happy meal and a good night to a great day.

Day 2

I checkout of my hotel early in the morning, around 6:30am. Booked a bike to one of the best places you should visit in Jaipur, the Nahargarh Fort.
From Jal Mahal to Nahargarh Fort a tuk tuk would cost you around 200-250 rupees. But a bike for 35-40 rupees. Though the bike can you take to the top of the fort. But do yourself a favor, tell your rider to drop you where the road to fort starts.
I had a real good experience walking all the way to the top, which can be around 2-3 kms. But due to the inclination it may feel more for the not so regular, walking person.
You will get some real good views while your way up to the fort. And the view up there is more stunning. No insult to any architecture but lowkey Great Wall of China, if you walk around the fort. I walked it all in 40mins. Sitting in a view with the wind blowing to your face. Its a beautiful feeling.
I walked my way back down after having a lunch in the fort itself, a masala maggi and  a guava juice to my belly.
It was around 3pm in the noon.
But if you are in a group or more than one person travelling. Please visit Nahargarh Fort in the Evening after the sun has set, You will get some breathtaking photos of the Jaipur City. Up above from Nahargarh Fort.
After coming back to the roads of Jaipur i booked my ride 3.0 to Hawa Mahal, which gets closed around 6:00 in the evening.
It was a good feeling inside Hawa Mahal , but a bit crowdy and of course the very beautiful architecture inside.
Don't forget to go shopping in those lanes of Hawa Mahal, you get almost everything. And every authentic.
Had an awesome dinner at MM khan hotel way back to my stay.
For the 2nd night it costed me around 380 rupees. In the centre of the city. And a real good stay, check images.
Again, i had completed 38 hours of my two days. I had a bus to catch in the morning. From Jaipur to Delhi. So i planned to go the nearest and best cafe in Jaipur to get a drink for myself, as you cant visit anything in the city of Jaipur after late night, other than cafes and pubs of course.
Do visit this place named café Palladio for real good interiors and ambience. And the bonfire on the outside.
Came back to my stay , slept and took my bus back to Delhi in the morning.
As i said in the first line, for such a vast and beautiful city like Jaipur. 2 days isn't enough. Never will be, but it is what it is. Hope my post helped you for a better time in Jaipur. Cheers.
