We usually don't need to worry about the itenary when our friends call out for GOA. Everything is preset!
From spending shit load of money on resorts ( honestly just for a bed ), crowded beaches, ordering the same old chicken in name of Goan cuisine to drinking gallons of cheap beer down your throat. Well that was the way I saw it, before going on a solo trip to the ends of Goa.
There I was trying to getaway from my routine and unresolved issues. All I wanted to do was go Offbeat and I did things which I would never do in my right mind.
On the very first day, I got off at Thivim station, hired a motorcycle and went straight ahead to Arambol which I had only heard off in my previous visits. Arambol, is close to the goan living secluded at the very end. I stayed at a travellers hostel which is unique its own way. Graffiti, travellers and happy vibes all around.
I actually had no plan as such just few scribbled places that I may or may not visit. Later that day, I went out looking for the sweet lake and banayan tree. Walked along the beach, passed colourful shops, jumped over the rocks and there I had discovered a whole new place. The sweet lake, usually I would take a dip but kept it for later as I wanted to trek to reach the very old banayan tree. En-route, I met a group from Pune, a middle aged lady who was tired to climb further and decided to light up her joint. After a short break, as moved on to reach the top, I saw the place was filled with travellers and in-center was a sadhu sharing his experiences.
On my way back I found a sweet spot to read a book which I was carrying with me the whole time. I had no agenda, I sat there reading while the sun turned red on me. For once I found time to be irrelevant.
Day 2: Got up early and drove to The Garden of Dreams for breakfast. The place was set to cheer up your mornings and the owner wishing you namaste in the accent puts a cherry on the top. While on it, I thought what person in sane mind would not do in Goa, Visit museum?

The Museum in Goa I had no idea what would find there or why I was heading there. The route was long and tiring. Somewhere hidden in the industrial area, I finally reached. Honestly, the place was dead silent and not because of the rules. At most 6-7 people were there at that time. Maybe architects, history enthusiasts or crazy heads like me. What I saw there was enough to keep me intrigued for few hours.
Next was Reis Magos fort which was on the way. Spent few hours there enjoying the view and cool breeze.
