Tiger fall, Chakrata.

The road, the beauty & the ride.With all weather and widened roads it poses an ease of driving in the hills ,which led to three hours of gazing with awe at the mountains and the beauty of Chakrata.

And when in the mountains. The descend always leads to stairway of heaven. The majestic tiger fall is located 19 kms from the main Chakrata market.

After reaching the Tiger fall a few kilometres trek down to reach the fall adds to the adventure.Greetings by young kids on such descends is the best part.

The place is very clean and is maintained by the direct authority of the district magistrate, with a dedicated parking. Nothing is overpriced even at such distance and height.

AWESTRUCK

The perks of the beauty comes at its own cost as one must carry food of their own with them. One can find maggi and beverages but not real food around.

All my bags are packed, I`m ready to go.

So the magic is real indeed. The legend has it that the fall is named "Tiger Fall" because the water falls from such a height that it imitates the roar of a tiger and that`s how Tiger Fall was born. The journey came to an end with us leaving before dusk and reaching Dehradun by the night.
