While others lost themselves in divine of kapleeshwarar temple I lost myself in the divine smell of bonda from jannal kadai. Jannal means window in tamil language. Microsoft Windows was everything to Bill gates where this window shop is my everything. This decade old shop in mylapore is literally a hole in the wall which provides crispy bhajji, bondas which took short bath in hot oil. The evening gets so busy and crowded by people to get hot snacks from the genie window. You get three bhajji's for INR 30. They were absolutely scrumptious and the coconut chutney accompanied with it was lip smacking one. You can also get dosa, idly, molaga( chilli) bhajji, and so on. There is no place to sit since the whole shop is just a window. If you wish you can eat there or else you can pack it with you.

Address: No. 55/25, south mada street, mylapore, chennai

Timings: 9.00am to 10.00 pm
