Sach Pass will be Closed during December. During First Week of December chances of Snow are very less. During last week of December more chances of Snow
UpvoteCommentTill October sach pass is open for summer prevails till October end. Then on starts winter closing the pass completely and then follows monsoon. You can plan travel to the pass now or next year July when the pass opens. Coming to your other question Dharamshala and Dalhousie both have snow in the month of December. It will be freezing where temperature drops too low. It is one such ideal time to view snow.

Yes December is an ideal time to visit Darjeeling and Sikkim. The weather will be cold and snowfall starts by month end. Places to visit in Darjeeling - Nightingale park, rock garden, pagoda, tea plantations, happy valley tea estate, monasteries and museum. Sikkim- Pelling, Ravangla, monasteries, Kanchenjunga park, botanical garden, zoo park. Since it’s going to be winter time, kindly carry all your winter wears.

I think If you are coming to Rajasthan for the first time then you should start from Jaipur. The view of Jaipur on Diwali is completely different.
You should also explore places like Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, you will get to see a lot. I am from Jhalawar, Rajasthan which is famous for Gagron fort. Jhalawar is a very beautiful place and after Diwali a fair of Chandrabhaga is also organized in Jhalrapatan which is very attractive indeed.
