Some still stand today.

Thus it seems natural that Hansen Kock wanted his designs to follow this path as well.

Visitors to Christiansborg can gain more insight into its complex architecture by engaging with our interactive model located in the Garden Room at Christian VIII's Palace. It explains how Amalienborg came together as a royal residence, and has screens showing more details on each individual building.
