A Journey Without Destination

We reached there around 7pm and we had to be here by 7am. We got late because of heavy rains, landslides and traffic jams. One of the jam took 4-5 hours phew! it was very tiring journey so we didnt explored Manali and whatever room we got we stayed and ate at some nearby restaurant and after that slept for more than 12 hours. We woke up at 9 as we had made reservations by HP Tourism bus to Leh at 11 am. To explore Manali we will be back again.

It was a beautiful spot as we reached it around sunset though there was very less snow as all had melted up. Stayed there for around 30 minutes clicked pictures and all.

Just stayed for 3-4 hours as the HP Tourism bus we boarded stops at a hotel and resumes in the morning as the route ahead is not suitable for driving in night. Though there were only tents in which we all stayed in front of that hotel. We resumed our long journey in the morning at around 5:30. The sky was full of stars and a big moon between mountains it was beautiful.

Oh that was 2nd highest pass in the world and because of less air there was numbness and severe headache. But really felt good being there. You can look around and see beautiful mountains and the road by which you came you feel like on the top of the world.

We reached our destination after a long journey. Leh is a beautiful place and it was like we are in a different world. People are so good and helpful. We reached here at 9 pm after braving the Tanglangla Pass and our heads were bumping so just ate and slept. Then in the morning we woke up early as we had to book motorbikes for 3 days to travel around leh and to Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake. It was a tough time getting bikes and we managed to get only 3 bikes till 1 pm. As we all got late to go to Nubra valley so we stayed at Leh and explored the city. Had some good food and went to some good places like King's Palace and a temple near our hotel. To compensate for not going to Nubra we went to magnetic hill next day which was not in our itinerary but it was a nice journey. We went to Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and to a place where two rivers were meeting ( sorry forgot its name ) explored around it stayed there for 2-3 hours and came back and started gearing up for trip to Pangong Lake as we could not afford to miss it. Next day started our journey to Pangong and it was a beautiful journey. Roads were awesome and the scenery around beautiful. Loved it. And when we reached pangong lake in the evening it was looking so much beautiful. We stayed in tents, had bonfire we had a nice time. Food though was not so good but there were very few hotels and none were vacant. Next day after exploring Pangong lake we came back to Leh, returned bikes and bought some stuff and booked a cab for Srinagar as we had a flight from there. Next day started our journey in the morning 6 am and when we crossed Leh we knew we were in Kashmir it was very beautiful,green and cloud studded mountains unlike Leh.

Finally we arrived at Srinagar, last destination of our journey. We all were tired of long yet beautiful journey from Leh to Srinagar. We booked hotel for a night's stay s we had flight to Delhi from Srinagar. So in the evening went near Dal Lake. Though I had heard of the beauty of Dal Lake. Indeed its beautiful but around it the roads are very crowded, dirty that broke my heart. Next day we had a ride in Shikara and it was quite good and the weather was awesome. After that we left to Srinagar airport and came back to Delhi.
