I had taken a backpacking trip along with my friend to north-east India. These photos are glimpses of my experience. I still feel a calling for the north-east. The main reason that makes me want to go back are the PEOPLE. I have never experienced such hospitality anywhere else in my travels. We could not reach Lachung as there was a major landslide due to bad weather and we were put up in Chunthang Village for the night. #TripotoTakeMeToDeoriatal
We then returned to Bagdogra the next day and headed on to Bhutan. I will post a separate blog on that in the near future. Travelling teaches you what nothing else can. People in remote areas lead a simple and happy life. This makes me wonder why do the rest of us get lost in the rat race and miss out on the beauty of life.
