Hyderabad the Indian city which serves the best Biriyani is a delight to watch and should be visited in the winter months of December and January.

The Golconda Fort and the Charminar which are the main identities of Hyderabad are the ones to watch out for.

The Ramoji Film city is a must watch for all studio enthusiasts.

It is best to take private autos across Hyderabad to visit the city as we have the choice of stopping to our favourite food outlets and enjoying the warmth of the city. All travellers should avoid the city bus tours which are not only costly but spolis the entire mood during travelling.Travellers who wants To get the best view of the city of Hyderabad climb to the roof top of Golconda and I assure them the memories gonna last a lifetime!!!!

Hyderabad-The city of Pearls, Nawabs, Biriyani, and many more......I started my journey from Chennai to Hyderabad by bus which takes around 13 hrs.I preferred buses as these buses are very comfortable and traveller friendly and equally comparable as travelling in a First Class AC coach. There are however other means of transport like trains and taxis and obviously flights. It is better to visit Hyderabad in December or January as this place is very dry and humid. There is always a charm in visting a place when the cool breeze blows throughout the city. There are numerous hotels in the city premises but its better to stay within the outskirts of the city.I started the city tour by covering the three lakes in 2 days time.To begin with I chose to see the Osman Sagar Lake first which is around 46 kms in length.Being one of the major drinking water suppliers to the local people across the region,Cool breeze blows across this lake and we get enchanting views of the city around Secunderabad. Then comes the Durgam Cheruvu which is a fresh water lake but a more restricted area due to soil erosion and rock formation around the lake.Boating is available in this lake but should be avoided for safety purpose.Fishing is practiced in this lake and serves as the only source of income for fisherman. And lastly we have the artificial Hussain Sagar Lake,a tributary of the Musi River which is in the Heart of the City.We have speed boats operating in this area which takes one for a 2 km lake ride across the lake covering the Buddha statue. We also have the Lumbini Park, the planetarium and the NTR gardens close to this lake.Coming on the Forts part,I chose to see The Charminar first which is the identity of Hyderabad. It has lot of space for prayers and mosque inside it.Architectural splendour of Charminar is very popular across the world..Visiting hours are 9 am -5 pm.Close to Charminar we have the famous Mecca Masjid and the Laad Bazaar..Local autos are easily available, cheap and affordable to avail to reach these places. Then comes the Golconda Fort which is famous because of the diamond architecture. The entire fort is surrounded by battlement ramparts. The entire view of the city of Hyderabad from the zenith is amazing and breath taking. The unique Light and Sound Show takes us to the Mughal reign when it was full of glory and grandeur. The fort came to ruins after the fall of Aurangzeb. We have greenery throughout this Fort with lot of trees, gardens to protect its environment and make it pollution free. And lastly the Taramati Baradari which is built close to the Osman Sagar Lake. This monument is illuminated in the evening.Coming to the museum side we have 3 museums around the city namely the Salar Jung Museum,The Nizam's Silver Jubilee Museum and the AP state archaelogical museum.Collection of antiques of the world like miniataures, porcelain and statues are in abundance in Salar Jung. And the Arms and Armour and Numismatics are famous in AP Archaeological museum. And the Nizam's Silver Jubilee Museum holds the mementos, collection of silver based models and gold thrones. We will now discuss about the 3 parks namely the Nehru Zoological Park which will attract all nature and bird lovers and the largest zoo in India. We have different types of safaris here like the Tiger Safari,Lion Safari and the Butterfly Safari.Next comes the KBR national Park bulit across the Jubilee Hills. The flora and fauna across the park gives a stunning view to the traveller. This park irrespective of the others is the home to birds, butterflies and reptiles. And lastly we have the Mahavir Harina Vanasthali National Park which is famous because of deers.
