A Voyage Through White Marble Rocks

The journey to Jabalpur in summer 2018 was a continuation trip inspired from Khajuraho which was huge driven force to explore beauty of Madhya Pradesh. The word Jabal is an arabic word which means mountains.

Day 1

I left Khajuraho with Iterative memories and moved to Jabalpur in the night by a Semi-Sleeper bus which was bad experience because of undergoing road construction works. I reached to Jabalpur next morning and thereafter started moving to BhedaGhat which was primary reason to visit Jabalpur. BhedaGhat is a small town where Narmada River passes through glowing white marble rocks and grow into a plunge waterfall.

I have taken a local bus to BhedaGhat which dropped me at waterfalls entrance. On the way close to BhedaGhat waterfalls, there were many local people who live selling self-designed white marble slates on which one can customize any names they wish. After Khajuraho, these people amazed me with their handcrafts skills. The abundant white marble rocks here had given an impressive view with shiny surface while sun rays hits on them.

The water coming through Eco-rich mineral rocks was apparent and hygienic at waterfalls but immediately upon meeting with most creative brains on earth (i.e. humans), water turns into lubricated and dirty. People coming to tourist attractions for enjoying “natural” beauty is fine but i feel, spoiling the inherent nature bringing cosmetic products is not justifiable under any level of right to freedom.

Next, I moved to BhedaGhat boating Club from where gates are open to sail through white marble rocks. On the way to boating club i have observed many rocks carved into different shape and style which we worship as god in temple are may be waiting for their turn to get sold for who offer better services. This is how the way, people are striving to sell themselves for good corporate firms who offer solid package. As how, the statues of different gods getting sold irrespective of color, architecture and size, even every human is also helpful, needful or likely to some other on this earth, if they have enough patience to wait for their occasion.

The boating experience was amazing sailing through glorious white marble rocks against the flow of mini turbulent Narmada river. The helmsman was explaining about its history and many movie shootings happened here before which i couldn't understand because of his slang.

The boating charges are per person Rs.50/- for 30 minutes halfway trip and Rs.100/- for 1 hour full way trip almost near to waterfalls from where the Narmada invades through white marble rocks. The eye-popping experience just by watching at shiny white marble rocks throughout sailing was a lifetime persistent memory.

The Kirandul Express starts from Vizag to Kirandul in the morning 7'o clock was stopped at Jagdalpur instead of going to Kirandul because Maoists blocked the way between Jagdalpur and Kirandul. So,While going to vizag from Jagdalpur in the evening 6'o clock, two police were guarding each compartment to safeguard passengers.
