Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Cochin
Meeting assistance on arrival at Cochin Airport and transfer to hotel.
On arrival, check-in at hotel
Afternoon proceed for the sightseeing tour of Cochin visiting the Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace and see the Chinese fishing nets (Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace are closed on Fridays)
Cochin: This city perfectly reflects the eclecticism of Kerala. Here you can see St Francis Church, the oldest church in India. Winding streets, crammed with 500-year-old Portuguese houses, add to the quaint charm of Cochin. A Jewish community, whose roots go back to 1,000 AD, still maintains its 16th century synagogue. Mattancherry Palace was built by the Portuguese and given to the Raja of Cochin. The Dutch later renovated this palace, which contains some of India's most beautiful murals. Fort Cochin is one of the country’s largest ports and a major naval base. Here, one can still see the famous 14th-15th century cantilevered Chinese fishing nets.

Day 2: Cochin - Munnar (135 kms / approx 5 hrs drive)
After breakfast, check out from hotel & transfer to Munnar.
On arrival, check-in at hotel
Munnar: Munnar is a hill station established by the British and situated on the Western Ghats (1,800 meters above sea level). This picturesque little town has gentle hills of tea, coffee and cardamom plantations. One can visit the nearby lakes, reservoirs, forest and tea estates.

Day 3: Munnar
Breakfast at the hotel
Afternoon proceed for the sightseeing tour of Munnar
Visit the Christ Church, Rajamala Hills lying adjacent to the park and stop by at Madupetty Dam, a famous picnic spot for boating and horse riding en route to Top Station. (Boating and horse riding on direct payment)
Also visit Tea museum and see tea making process. You can also purchase fine quality local tea from here.
Enjoy rest of the day at leisure and relax in the surroundings of the hotel.

Day 4: Munnar - Thekkady (112 kms / approx 4 hrs drive)
After breakfast, check out from hotel & transfer to Periyar, known for its Wildlife reserve.
On arrival, check-in at hotel
Periyar: Periyar was the first wildlife sanctuary in the state, it was set up in 1934 and forms part of the Western Ghats mountain range. The Periyar sanctuary is a rare instance of human meddling having enhanced rather than damaged an ecosystem. A boat ride on Lake Periyar allows you to observe the animals in their natural habitat. Cruising on the mist-shrouded lake you are likely to see animals such as Wild Boar, Sambar Deer, Wild Dogs, Langoor Monkeys and Wild Elephants. (Boat ride is subject to availability)

Day 5: Thekkady - Kumarakom (122 kms / approx 3 hrs drive)
After breakfast, check out from hotel transfer to Kumarakom.

Kumarakom: The enchanting backwater destination of Kumarakom is a small village that is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake in Kerala. Kumarakom strengthens Kerala’s reputation for being God’s own country with its unbelievably beautiful mangrove forests, coconut groves and emerald green paddy fields interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals adorned with while lilies. It is a breathtaking bout to experience a solitary and calm glide through this network of waterways.
Enjoy 2 Hours Boat cruise at Vembanand Lake

Day 6: Kumarakom

The day is at leisure to explore the backwaters, known for its small water canals surrounded by lush green paddy fields and swaying palms.

Day 7: Kumarakom - Cochin (80 kms / approx 2 hrs drive) & Depart Cochin
After breakfast, check out from hotel & transfer to Cochin Airport for your onward journey
