All geared up and raring to go, i left home at around 5:00 in morning to reach the spot and capture first sun rise of the new year. People would think it's crazy thing to do, but when your nature calls and you have a great companion one should head for it.
This place is just outside Pune and approximately 150kms from Panvel on NH4. Peaceful when you see sun rise even though one is seated next to a very busy highway. It feels like you are in a soundproof enclosure just lost in thoughts.
