Kaas Plateau!!!! is unbelievably beautiful.... I always wished to go to the Valley of Flowers in Himalayas , but couldn't really make it there because of work & the time constraint. So a good friend called me up & asked me if I wanted to join her to Kaas and I couldn't really say a NO... And thus, one fine day we plan it up & leave for Kaas. It was indeed a drive from Mumbai to Satara !!! Though we made it up by evening to Satara ... Checked into a hotel rested for the night & early morning left to visit the Kaas .. On our way to Kaas Plateau , we first saw the " Thoseghar Waterfall " which is quite known there , enjoying it for quite a while we left for Kaas.. It took us a while to drive down to Kaas.. But the moment we reached , we couldn't keep our eyes off the colorful mat which was being spread by Mother Nature ... We got super engrossed in knowing, learning & clicking the pictures of all the varied species of flowers there.. We later realized that it was already late in the afternoon & that we were suppose to leave back for Mumbai. We were just not ready to leave such an amazing & a beautiful place but left by vowing each other that we would try coming to this mesmerizing place once every year... I know there is not much to write about Kaas !!! The pictures say it all. I would suggest every reader here to visit this beauty at least for once in their lifetime !!!
