So, our day 1 started from Delhi airport at 5.20 A.M and we landed at guwhati approx 7.46 A.M from there we took a cab from there to shillong . You can easily get cabs to shillong from guwhati airport either you can opt for sharing one or private taxi. we opted for the private one. In between we stopped to get the view of umiam lake and literally it was the beautiful view from the heights of mountains. Then we reached to our guesthouse and rest for couple of hours. On that day we roam around the city and catch major attractions like first we went to Ward's lake , then we went to police bazaar , at police bazaar there is smoke falls cafe if you are a coffee lover then you should must hit that place and finally we had our dinner at family city dhaba .
We hired a taxi for our second day and we covered five major attractions of shillong .
Sacred Forest

Elephant Falls
It's a three tiered waterfalls.It's beautiful to watch these falls and listening to the sound of water.

It is very close to the Elephant Falls and on the way to Shillong Peak. The ambience of the place is good and also great food.

Shillong peak
Shillong Peak is the highest point of Shillong. From there you get the mesmerizing view of the entire city.
Laitlum Grand Canyon
The must visit place. There is no better place than canyon. You will find the utter peace over there .
And the day ends here .
We again hired a taxi and on this we covered dawki , mawllylong ( the cleanest village ) and single root bridge situated near mawllylong.
From there to travelled to cherranpunji and stayed there for night.
Early morning we started trekking for double decker bridge. There is around 3000 steps which you have to cover for this bridge . You can get sticks for Rs 20.
On this day we went to see NohKaLikai Falls . India's highest waterfall and Asia's second largest waterfall. Then we went to Mawsmai Cave.
and at last we went to garden of caves where you get to see variety of waterfalls at same place .
we get back to guwhati airport and the wonderful journey of Meghalya end there.
