Amidst the Arabian sea lies a 300 yr old fort:- Kolaba Fort. This fort is protected under the archeological survey of India due to its significance in history. It acted as a naval station during the reign of Shivaji Maharaj. A must visit, when in Alibaug beach. You need to take a boat to reach the entry of the fort. Alternatively, during low tide, you can take a tonga to reach the fort.

Though you will not get a wide range of varieties in your food menu, the preparation is tasty, and also you can get to taste Malvani Cuisine with soul curry. Outside food is allowed in the property.

The staff are friendly and goes to every length when needed. Special Mention, there was a power cut in the night due to storm and was taking time to restore. One of the staff took extraordinary effort and arranged candles and matchsticks in the rain.
