Myanmar is the newest country in Asia to open its doors to the general travel population. This trip was made even more special for me as I had signed up for the photography trip accompanying the famous Nat Geo photographer, Mike Yamashita with arrangements made by all resourceful, Mr. Jock Montgomery of Compass Rose Expeditions LLC. I personally like to take photography trips filled with sunrise and sunsets and far off locations so this trip fitted well with my requirements and made even more special with "on the fly" photo tips and nuggets of wisdom from Mike.
