Whenever Africa comes to our mind, the first thing that attracts us is its Wildlife. The entire African continent is famous for its natural beauty and the wildlife. It has been the center of attraction for the tourist from long go. When you are traveling to Nairobi that means you are traveling to one of the best and most developed city in Africa.
My trip was an official trip for 1 month. I stayed in one of the best hotels of Nairobi . So it’s not only me, it was an entire team of 30 members was traveling to Nairobi. Whenever you have such a big group, the trip itself becomes interesting in all ways.
The workload was high but still we managed to spend a good amount of time in the weekends in visiting some of the best places in Nairobi. If you are traveling to Nairobi, you should not miss visiting Massaimara. It’s the best safari that you can ever have in your life. Watching a lion in the zoo is a different experience but if you see a wild lion hunting a wild buffalo in front of you then you get the ultimate taste of wilderness. If you are lucky enough, you can get to see this kind of things. Spending night at Massaimara in the Savanna Grasslands is also equally thrilling. You will be able to hear different kind of animal cries at night.
Apart from Massaimara, there is Nairobi National Park in the heart of the Nairobi city. But it’s not as good as Massaimara. There are also other Giraffe parks where you can see and feed Giraffes. The food options are pretty good over there. What I felt over there that Africans are very much fond of Indian cuisines. You will get almost all kind of Indian food options in Nairobi. There is also a flea market in Nairobi where you will get all kinds of souvenirs and tribal products starting from ornaments to apparels.
I think everybody who all is fond of watching wildlife closely should visit Nairobi once. But if you are traveling for the first time to Nairobi, you should take the below points in consideration.
• Never carry your original passport with you. Always keep your passport in the security vault in your hotel and carry a photocopy of your passport.
