Day-1 Arrive Nairobi – Mount Kenya (Approximately 3 hours’ drive)
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will transferred to Serena Mountain Lodge. Tonight observe game as wild animals come to the lodge’s flood-lit waterhole to drink water. Dinner and overnight stay at Serena Mountain Lodge.
Day-2 Mount Kenya – Ol Pejeta (Approximately 1 ½ hours’ drive)
After breakfast, depart for the shoulders of Mt. Kenya, drive through rich farmlands where coffee is grown among other crops enjoy the scenery as you explore the great rift valley on your drive to arrive at Sweetwater’s for lunch at your camp. Later on, proceed with an afternoon game drive at the conservancy which is nestled between Mt. Kenya to the east and the Aberdares Mountains to the west. Dinner and overnight at the Sweetwater’s Tented Camp.
Day-3 Ol Pejeta - Lake Elementaita (Approximately 3 ½ hours’ drive)
After breakfast, proceed to Lake Elementaita in the Rift Valley Region. Arrive, check-in your Camp and have lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in Soysambu Conservancy. Dinner and overnight at Lake Elementaita Serena Camp.
Day-4 Lake Elementaita – Masai Mara (Approximately 5 ½ hours’ drive)
After breakfast, depart for the world famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at your lodge for check-in and have lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive around the world famous Mara. Dinner and overnight stay at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge.
Day-5 Masai Mara
Full day spent in the Mara with early morning 0630hrs and afternoon 1600hrs game drives. All meals and overnight stay at the Mara Leisure Camp.
Optional: Hot air balloon ride @ USD 450/person
(Hot air balloon taking off in the beautiful early morning, you drift above the browsing game and have tremendous opportunities for unusual photographs. What could be more uplifting than an early morning safari in a hot air balloon flying over the vast plains of Africa? Witness an African sunrise as a plethora of wildlife roam the land beneath you. At the end of the flight you land on the plains, in the midst of this enchanting savannah a champagne breakfast is laid out with the mouthwatering aroma of sausages, eggs, and bacon, sizzling over a charcoal fire. Day-6 Masai Mara – Nairobi (Approximately 5 ½ hours’ drive)
Have breakfast at the lodge and depart with a game drive en route to Nairobi. Overnight at Nairobi Serena Hotel.
Day-7 Depart Nairobi
After breakfast, a transfer will be arranged to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
