After a wedding shoot we thought it would be a great idea to experience something quite and unique. Certainly chilling out in Himalayas especially in winters is really an adventurous move. And we got what we had expected. A true serene place . Beautiful and quiet. Pangot is a place for selected. I must say for birdwatcher and those who wish to explore landscapes. I came here for birdwatching but ended up as a landscape enthusiast. Yes this is truely a place for bird photography but, a big but, you have to chose your own trail. Infact I saw numerous eye catching colorful birds but not able to capture through my lens.
So I like to divert your attention towards a place name "TIMLIPANI" . This trail is not motorable. It's 40 minutes drive from jungle lore lounge. This trail really surprised us. This is nearly an untouched green area with cascade of waters flowing down. As you move you will be able to recall the scenes from a jungle book. Trees are stacked up on the slope and you can hear birds chirp resonating in the dense forest. There is a traffic of birds chirping and that makes it a unique world of its own. Although i am not able to capture enough.
Meanwhile we did able to spot a unique place for Himalayan overview. Though you can view it as you drive from Nainital to pangot, but i find it is not as breathtaking as i wished so luckily as driving towards the CHIR POINT we came across a turn which overthrows a deep view of himalayan range. And we witnessed both sunrise and sunset from this point. And i m going to display images from this very point.
