Day 1

Naina resort & spa Arguably a luxurious resort that soared our excitement and anticipation for a comfortable retreat.

Bangla road walking street a party place like this was like being at a carnival. You had to feel the vibe and just acclimitise to the mood!

Day 2

Phi phi island tour You travel across to marvel at the wonders of nature after a speed boat ride of about an hour. The weather was down so we did the tour in what seemed like double the time. Not forgetting to pop in those anti vomit meds which made us drowsy as hell towards the end but were still worth it lest many would die of sickness! It was an arduous ride that felt like eternity but once you step foot on the island or just see the beauty, it seems worth it! You also get to take a dip in the water or a spash from the boat straight into the salty water for a nice soak and thrill! I wore denim shorts and forgot my bikini because of which an entire was spent in salty water drenched heavy clothing and was not to my best liking or preference. We tried out scuba and had a fun experience of the same. Although many felt disappointed and remembered the richness of andamans under water world. Dont forget to down some beer and fresh sweet watermelons and pineapples at some exotic locations amidst the sea! The perfect way to end the day was with a massage and an eyeful at a ping pong show!!

Day 3

A day to relax and explore A day to recuperate from the exertion of the previous two days as we head out to zip line at the flying hanuman. An adventurous and fun day- perfectly spent in the company of the youngsters! This was followed by a trip to the local restaurant that became our favourite place for good continental food- 'The Little Mermaid' where we devoured our lunch. Thereafter we head out to the patong market for skimming through bikinis for my next island trip, a 'back breaking' massage and a coffee break at the omnipresent 'The Coffee Club'. We chanced upon a pamphlet of Naughty Nuris and traced it down through GPS for some sumptuous pork ribs! The night was spent by the pool side enjoying some bhel puri and local sweet mangos along with strawberry Baileys.

Day 4

James bond island escapade. A scenic beauty and an adventure junkies' paradise.. The kayaking amidst the caves was a thrilling experience! The ride this time was a smoother one sans the speed boat. A dip into the water and a chilled beer on a remote picturesque island were memories of a lifetime. Sumptuous lunch was served on the boat that was devoured by all passengers to the bone!

It was a jam packed day with activities as the evening was booked for the famous New moon party at paradise beach. This is one of the most happening parties ever and a major attraction among the party people tourists in thailand. with a tight security presence that can keep all stalkers/ 'high on life' guys at bay, ample booze, crazy line up of DJs, fireworks, dancers, we were all sold for this and were among the last ones to exit!

Day 5

Dolphin show. Last swim in the pool and crazy fun with walkathons etc in the water. and the final meal at burger king.

Day 6

Transfer to bangkok and reach at night.

Day 7

Bangkok shopping We hit the platinum mall through BTS nana and had breakfast at 7 X 11! Thereafter we surged through all the floors and innumerable shops! All had one thing in common- no bargaining there! Rather they're averse to the idea and get really rude.. The shopping varied from beautiful undergarments to shirt-shorts sets, pant suits, linen pyjamas, fancy tops etc etc. The mall has a wonderful food court where we had all sorts of cuisine! Including the indian Chole Bhature that barely lasted on the table! Also on the outside, there's a good thriving marketplace with food and beverages included. I picked up some funky chappals and there's no count of the amount of coconut water/ smoothies we had!

Thailand MUST HAVES-

What to guard against in Thailand?

Phuket is relatively a safe haven for tourists with friendly people and a safe night life to explore even for single men! However, this may not be the case in Bangkok so have your guard on and know what you're headed for.

go ahead and fall in love with the vibes of this place!!

After visiting a couple of countries in Europe, it was a natural instinct for my husband and me to unanimously decide on travelling to some Asian destination for a rugged experience! Thailand was the most obvious choice for the popularity it has among indian travellers of all hues.

All was planned and off we set course for our much awaited trip along with my feisty cousins- all 20 year olds.

Visa on arrival It was a learning lesson about the visa formalities that happen at the bangkok airport and not at the final destination of deboarding. This created a bit of a panic as we'd not catered for the visa part in the layover at bangkok airport before our flight to phuket.

Phuket We were kicked about setting foot in this Thai Land with varying landscapes where hills and beaches co exist! Travel a little further, the streets were lively and the tenor was ecstatic that seemed contagious & was sparking our energies!

Day 6

Hit the local night market- ARTBOX and enjoy the thai sweet delicacy - sticky rice with mango at mangonista- an amazing beverage store! Their smoothie was also delicious!
