Pondicherry officially known as Puducherry or just Pondi is a small and quite place that can satisfy your lack of vitamin SEA in a pocket friendly price. Pondicherry is at a distance of around 300 km from Bangalore. There are many ways to reach Pondi from Bangalore. But what else can beat a road trip with friends !!
Yes, again.. a road trip.. a road trip with friends to the land of sun, sea and beaches. We booked a cab from Bangalore for the round trip. Since we wanted to enjoy every bit of the trip, we started at 12:30 AM on Saturday from Bangalore.
And what's better than WAKING UP AT THE BEACH TO SEE THE SUNRISE. We reached Pondi at around 6:00 AM and directly headed toward Serenity Beach. Serenity beach is a perfect place to see the sunrise.
Smell the sea, and feel the sky, let your soul and spirits fly.
It's a calm place with less crowd (since we visited off season) and a perfect place to enjoy some me time !!
After this, we went to our homestay and got ready for our whole day exploration.
To reach Paradise from Chunnambar backwaters, A regular boat on a regular basis takes around 15-20 minutes of the time to reach on the island of paradise beach. Paradise beach is literally the paradise in Pondicherry. You must save ample amount of time to spend as this beach offers the best experience . This beach is clean, offers sea food and you can also enjoy different activites.
We enjoyed the rest of the day on Paradise beach. In the evening, we headed back to our home stay.
We started our second day by visiting temple and then Auroville.
We started our return journey in afternoon and reach Bangalore by 10:00 PM.
