We had our Breakfast and Geared up ourself and left the Hotel for the INDO-PAKISTAN border by 11:00am. We reached Tanot Mata Mandir by 1:00pm (12°C) which was around 120kms from our Hotel.

Tannot Mata is temple in western State of Rajasthan in District Jaisalmer of India. The village is close to the border with Pakistan, and is very close to the battle site of Longewala of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, Tourists cannot go beyond this temple to see the Indo–Pak Border unless one gets the relevant documentation in advance from the District and Military Authorities. It is now a tourist destination in India.

With 2 small haults ,we reached BIKANER by 8:15pm (11°C) at Skybird Resort to attend a Cousin Wedding.

We Got soo much of Attractions & Reactions when we arrived at the resorts which gave us a Name as "BIKING BROTHERSS'...

We had our Dinner & Ended our Day 5...!!

Day 6

We got up at 8:00am (14°C) ,met everybody ,clicked some pictures with MAYA including the guest present at the Wedding.

& by 11:00am (14°C) ,we left for KARNI MATA Temple(Deshnok) which was around 30kms from the Resort.

Karni Mata Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to KARNI MATA. It is also known as the Temple of Rats.

Out of all of the thousands of rats in the temple, there are a few white rats, which are considered to be especially holy. They are believed to be the manifestations of Karni Mata herself. Sighting them is a special blessing and visitors put in extensive efforts to bring them forth, offering prasad, a sweet holy food.

By 12:30pm ,after having Lunch & vising one of the Largest Cowshed (more than 2000-2500 different breeds of Cows) ,we moved towards PUNRASAR Balaji Temple which was around 105kms ,we reached there by 2:30pm as weather was bit Rainy.

Punrasar Balaji temple is surrounded by the sand dunes. Besides the main Nij Temple, there is also a statue of Hanumanji at the tree of Khejdi. At Khejdi, the ancient Hindu custom of cutting the hairs of new born children takes place. "CHURMA PRASADI", a sweet dish made up of wheat flour, butter and sugar is provided to the devotees of by the Pujari and his family members as the prasad. The prasad is first offered to Hanumanji for bhog and is then distributed to the devotees & it is said that you have to finish the Prasad at the place itself.

By 4:30pm ,we left the place and reached at the Resort by 6:00pm (11°C) to attend Sangeet (Hindu Rituals) followed by a get-together & dinner which came to an end of Day 6...!!

Day 7

Day 7 was the extremist Resting day as there was nothing to do ,just to sit back and relax..

I got up by 10:00am (11°C) ,it was densly foggy which led us to be in our rooms ('haha').

So ,I thought of Working on Motorcycle like to to repair minor stuffs , tightening the screws ,Chain Maintenance ,etc.

Testing of Bike in Densely Fogg

Photo of Sky Bird, Bikaner, Rajasthan, India by WanderLayan

I checked my Motorcycle and made the Corrections 'OK' and ended our day followed by the Wedding Ceremony.

Day 8

Day 8 was nothing but just a day to complete my pending works in Bikaner so we completed the work, spent quality time with our Family and ended our Day 8 by packing up all the Luggage at Night itself to move from BIKANER to HIMMATNAGAR (100kms before AHEMDABAD).

Day 9

We got up by 5:30am (6°C) where the Roads were 90% covered by 'Fogg' and there was only 1.5-2 metre long Visibility which made us to leave BIKANER by 8:00am (8°C) ,but the Fogg was still the same ,anyhow we managed to leave and took our 1st fuel hault.

It was so Foggy that it took 1hour 45mins to cover our 1st Fuel hault (70kms).

This was the condition after passing all the Foggy areas..

Photo of Nokha, Rajasthan, India by WanderLayan

As the Time passed ,weather was doing Justice to us...All was going fine till we crossed RAJASTHAN-GUJURAT Border (Checkpost).

At 2:00pm (11°C) ,having our Lunch at some Dhabha ,we left for BIKANER (my Hometown) which was around 315kms from Jaisalmer city.

Adventure started when we started climbing the Ghats of ABU ROAD

Where the Roads were Scary due to constructive roads with not a single Street Lights..

we managed and some how connected to Gujurat Highway and made to our Destination by 9:30om (15°C).

We were Exhausted, had our dinner at our friend's home and crashed by 11:00pm and ended our Day 9...

Day 10

We got up at 9:30am (12°C) ,had our breakfast, checked into the Hotel, met our Friends and attended the Sangeet (Indian Rituals) and ended our Day 10 with a great Dinner.

Day 11

Today was the wedding day we were awake by 8:00am (16°C) ,got ready and kept our Luggage in friend's car as plan was to stay after wedding (Saturday) and leave by next day (Sunday morning).

But, wedding was almost at the verge of end, so we decided to leave the Venue by 2:00 pm (20°C) and to take Hault stay at Surat by 8:00pm (as per Google maps).

But our speed was soo maintained at 100-110kmph that we made to Surat by 7:30pm and as per Google maps we shoulld be reaching to our Destination (Home-Mumbai) by 12:10am....so we decided to move on and reached our Destination by 11:55pm.

Our Maya(Royal Enfield Himalayan) was also safe which gave us an Unexpected average of 39kms per litre where we covered 3450kms and our Total Trip cost was around INR Rs12,000/- (Including Fuel,Stay,Food, all Entry fee, etc).

Which concluded that we completed our Rajasthan Tour (Mumbai-Udaipur-Jodhpur-Jaisalmer-Bikaner-Himmatnagar-Mumbai) in 10days without any Accidents, Motorcycle Breakdown, any Losses & with lots of praises filled with Memorable Moments...
