Things I learnt from my trip to Jaipur ~
1. Awareness
In terms of travelling in public transport or shopping if one isn't aware of the charges and the costs it's easy to get tricked in the Pink City.
2. I went to the city for a memory and I returned with many
I've always wanted to visit the city with someone close to my heart who belonged to the city and he had invited me over last year. However our differences led us to separate and that could not be. But the desire remained so I had to visit and ended up meeting way too many lovely locals!
3. Simple Pleasures don't cost alot
Be it the moon in the sky post Eid, the rustic beauty of the monuments of Jaipur at night or even the food which is extremely affordable and delicious the city lights of Jaipur have a spark of their own.
4. The Summer Heat won't bother you if you don't let it
It's really a mindset game. I never once felt that the heat was too much to ask for or even created the thought around it. I knew I had to enjoy the city and what it had to offer and gladly accepted.
5. Hospitality at it's finest
Jaipur is truly hospitable in terms of its people who are happy to help you in any way possible! I met locals belonging to different communities in Jaipur be it Muslims or Rajputs or Marwaris and all of them had nothing but love to offer!
Would I visit again? Yes!
Be it the places or the food or the people or the shopping Jaipur has my heart.
