Ancient tribe and their ancient creativity always astonish us in a kind we cannot even explain. Numerous creativities from their ancient times leave us spellbound. One such incredible creativity is the building of various ancient shiva temples in a straight line from Kedarnath till Rameswaram that too without any knowledge of science and technology.

There are more than eight temples that fall in the same longitude between Kedarnath and Rameswaram. The eight temples that form almost the same longitude are

1.Kedarnath temple

(18.8110, 79.9067), kaleshwaram

3.Srikalahasti Temple

It is also a common belief that five of these Shiva temples represent five elements of nature naming Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Space.

The element 'earth' of nature is in Kanchipuram represented by Ekambareswarar Temple, the element water is in Thiruvanaikaval represented by Jambukeswara Temple, the element fire is in Thiruvannamalai represented by Annamalaiyar Temple, the element air is in Kalahasti represented by Srikalahasti Temple and the element space is in Chidambaram represented by Natraja temple.

Most of the above-mentioned temples are designed by Tamil Kings.
