For the first time in life we travelled on a Locomotive and in a goods wagon while returning. Dark tunnels and water coming in through all the sides is a view worth a million. We set out to explore the unseen rain forest with our backpacks and our trusted companion – our shoes. We welcomed everything in our way with childlike enthusiasm - the rain, the snakes and the 14kms of unending trek in the dark forest. We went down the hill and had the best high dives in the mountain fresh water. We finally reached. It is much more breathtaking than what is seen in pictures. No photographer could capture such beauty, it was a thrill! It was experience. And then came the eureka moment the Dudhsagar falls in all its glory and as the name suggests all we could see were gallons of 'milky white' fresh water being poured down at us. We were overwhelmed by nature’s beauty; the moment will be etched in our memories forever. The lush greenery, the serene fresh water and crazy friends, didn't need more to feel alive. It’s a journey everyone should take and an experience worthy to make. This adventure beckoned me for over a year, I feel at peace now. :)

Note: We kept this trip really short due to limited availability of time. Everything was unplanned and sudden, as we went from a nearby town known as Manipal.

Most of the pictures attached are taken with a 2mpx camera. Thanks to another on the way tragedy. :P
